SvenskAnna.com Updates

October 5, 2003

Soooo. I'm terrible at this kind of thing. It's like having a conversation with myself, only everyone else hears it too. Recent news: I went to see Semmarit at the University of Washington on Saturday. Amazing concert!! And such nice fellows. I wish American boys were so fun. Semmarit, by the way, is a male chorus from Finland. They incorporate theatrical choreography into their act. More on that later, though…

As for my semi-professional life, I have officially entered my final quarter of school. This summer I did my internship with Portent Interactive, a web design company in the area. I’ll be working there part time my final quarter of school, and hopefully ever-after.

And the future of this site? - I will be updating it soon-ish. This summer was busy. 3 jobs and lots of school work. I couldn't muster up the energy to do anything with this site. But soon. Soon! It will be better than you could even imagine...

Today's email confirms that at least one individual is reading this thing. I think that person deserves an ice cream cone or maybe some Thai food. Speaking of Thai food, everyone should go visit Little Thai in the U-District. It's the best. I will shamelessly promote their goodness without expecting anything in return. Anyway, I bumped my forehead on a cabinet door today, producing a bump and lots of pain. Frozen zucchini to the rescue! Right now I'm going through stuff to put online. Got a few good shots of war protestors, cats, and some people. But I really need to redo the whole photo archive before I put much more there.. argh...

Much has happened since I last wrote...afterall, it's been half a year! More on that later, though. I played at Folklife last night and I'm trying to recover from a very hectic week.

December 9, 2002

I've added 2 photos (of spider webs) to the nature section of the photo archives. I don't like having to deal with web-optimization, though. Do any of you out there have an opinion? Up until now I haven't let any one image surpass the 26k mark. When I have time, I'd like to recode my ASP so the organizer pages load more quickly and link to much higher quality full-sized versions.

December 8, 2002

Today, on this 8th day of December, I have resolved to keep you all apprised of changes to Svenskanna.com. This could be really useful - check back to find out what new stuff I've added to the site. I might include in a few tidbits about my personal life, but don't expect a saga out of me. Consider yourself updated. Until next time...
